چکیده
Harvesting multi-frequency sound energy from environmental noise is a meaningful topic to supply for potential devices. In this work, we constructed an array of Helmholtz resonators (HRs) with cross-linked polypropylene (IXPP) ferroelectret films on the inner walls HR cavities, whose resonant frequencies range 300 800 Hz and quasi-static piezoelectric coefficient d33 230 pC/N. The harvesting performance IXPP investigated, both theoretically experimentally, in single various sizes, showing high conversion capability close HRs, e.g., 337, 375, 445, 522, 588, 661, 739, 782, 795 Hz, experiment. By putting one, two, three, four samples nine different sized HRs series connection order, measured average output power 3.16, 5.31, 7.36, 8.66 nW at frequencies. It shows that has been significantly improved multiple by films. parallel, optimal electrical resistance increases quasilinear way compared number HRs. These results are helpful designing efficient harvesters broadband frequency range.

Multi-frequency piezomagnetoelastic energy harvesting in the monostable mode
The present article investigates effects of the multi-frequency excitation on the output power of a piezomagnetoelastic energy harvester. The piezomagnetoelastic power generator is assumed to operate in the mono-stable mode. A perturbation technique based on the method of multiple scales is employed to develop an analytical solution to nonlinear differential equations governing the system dynam...
متن کاملAcoustic Energy Harvesting Using Helmholtz Resonator with Tapered Neck
In acoustic energy, harvesting energy is captured from external noise sources, controlled and stored for various applications. Despite the prevalence of acoustic energy a major challenge of energy harvesting is the low power density. Acoustic Energy Harvester consists of a resonator, an acoustic transducer and a storage device. When acoustic resonator is excited by an incident wave at its reson...
متن کاملNovel thick-foam ferroelectret with engineered voids for energy harvesting applications
This work reports a novel thick-foam ferroelectret which is designed and engineered for energy harvesting applications. We fabricated this ferroelectret foam by mixing a chemical blowing agent with a polymer solution, then used heat treatment to activate the agent and create voids in the polymer foam. The dimensions of the foam, the density and size of voids can be well controlled in the fabric...
متن کاملCircular concentric Helmholtz resonators
The effect of specific cavity dimensions of circular concentric Helmholtz resonators is investigated theoretically, computationally, and experimentally. Three analytical models are employed in this study: ~1! A two-dimensional model developed to account for the nonplanar wave propagation in both the neck and the cavity; ~2! a one-dimensional solution developed for the limit of small cavity leng...
متن کاملElastic Helmholtz resonators
The influence of wall elasticity on the response of a Helmholtz resonator is examined by analyzing the canonical case of a thin elastic spherical shell with a circular aperture subject o plane wave excitation. By neglecting the thickness of the wall and representing the elasticity via a "thin shell" theory the problem is reduced to one of solving an integral equation over the aperture for the p...
